Are you sure about that? If so, could you post a link to back it up?

The way I understand it, any money recovered will go only to legal costs, such as expert witnesses, etc., and not to Zimmerman.
You're getting into semantics. Texdav meant he would be given money from the state to pay legal costs.

The end result is the same---less money he has to pay for legal costs means more money for him to keep of his own.

Yeah, she just all on her own initiative transfered $74,000 broken into eight smaller transfers (so as to not be reported) ranging from $7,500 to $9,990 from her husband's credit union account in to hers, and $47,000 from his account to his sister's account in the days before his bond hearing. Then four days after he was released on bond, she transferred more than $85,500 from her account back into her husband's.

But poor little honest innocent George Zimmerman knew nothing about all of this money being transfered into and out of his account, and he would have never have supported her doing something that dishonest for him.

George was not charged or convicted with lying, only his wife. His wife had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting, she was not a witness nor did she testify in court, nor was she interviewed by the police or prosecution as part of the investigation. But this is old news - she was charged I think years ago, before the trial. It obviously did not impact the prosecutions case.
Are we going to argue this trial once again? People don't share your opinion, which is way way extreme beyond the norm of even people that think he was guilty of "something", and probably one of the reasons the mod was forced to shut down the prior thread. This divorce has no impact to the results or peoples opinions.

All their conversations over transfer of funds were recorded before George was released from jail.

The outcome of her perjury will effect George. Its possible he could be charged now as well.

hey! since when do we interject rational thinking into these types of threads? now pick a side and start slinging nonsense!

In other words George wants to be reimbursed money donated by the public for his defense fund. Money he also used to pay off credit card debts.
The guys got brass conastas.

Huh? The perjury thing was with regards to finances for bail.

I think we all know that a whole bunch of dirty laundry about everyone involved was kept out of the trial.

If there is a civil trial that will all come out....which is why there won't be a civil trial.

George Zimmerman Defense Fund Out Of Money…AGAIN! (DETAILS) | Global Grind
Not really, if you do some digging you will find out that money will basically wind up with his legal team and only would reimburse things like copying expenses and legal experts....not legal fees.

He might get 10,000 if he's lucky....it makes for a salacious story only in terms of headlines not underlying facts.

He's still going to be dead broke.

Yes, 10,000 down and only about 2million in legal fees to go! He's practically home free financially.
