There is the presumption of services provided when you patronize an establishment, and I don't see a school as being any different.

For there to be a crime I would think there should be a notice posted.

If I walk in that school parking lot at night while the lights are on, have I just stolen electricity for having my path lit? What a joke. This is a colossal waste of tax payer money and people should be getting fired over this
For one hundred years we have been paying for fuel to keep our vehicles on the road. Now you think 'green' and it is OK to grab energy from wherever you stop. It doesn't work that way. Charging cell phones does not take the energy that charging a car takes. If you own a diesel; you don't syphon the fuel out of the school bus.

I love "Free". Show me anything in the Free Column and I'll check it out. But you cannot take things without permission. Electric cars are new and people will have to learn to play by the rules. It might have been harsh - but somebody will have to draw the line in the sand.

You're right, a cell phone would have drawn more electricity than this car
