An elementary school teacher was arrested Friday and accused of poisoning colleagues at an after-hours employee potluck with food containing marijuana, according to Benicia police.

Employees of the Matthew Turner Elementary School attended the potluck at a residence on the night of Nov. 21. Several people who attended the party became sick and complained of feeling like they were under the influence of a controlled substance.

Its not food being laced with marijuana that bothers me. Its if someone puts LSD in food. Then things would get real freaky. I heard that someone put LSD in the teachers coffee in a high school in Berkely CA. That was back in the 70s.

While I fully support legalization, what this guy did was pretty low. It's not cool to tamper with food, or beverages.
