Not sure, but Lincoln the town is well preserved...with many original buildings from that time and several museams (the courthouse where Billy the Kid made his famous escape, killing two deputies in the process, still exists in just about an unchanged state and is now a museam). I was there a couple years ago, I think some of the relatives of those involved in the events still live there and own lodges.
If you want to know about recordings and interviews, the proprieters of those museams would know about it.
I have never heard of any audio interviews. I finally got around to watching Jesse James Jr. in the silent movie "Under The Black Flag" on youtube. Like all silent movies it was hard to sit through.
Some of these guys lived into the 1920's-30's. Anyone know of any audio interviews with them, their kids, friends, etc?
thanks
My guess would be that no such interviews exist. I would love to hear them, however, if they do. Have you reached out to any old west or New Mexico historical societies?

I will this week. I'm interested in first hand accounts. Just ordered BTK and P Garret as I knew them (book).
