Chicago is close to 700 murders possible to hit nearly 800 by year ends.
Chicago is not close to 700 murders. As of 11/3, it is at 640 homicides this year according to the official source (https://data.cityofchicago.org/Publi...sent/ijzp-q8t2). If the rate holds, it'll end up around 750 homicides for the year which is still terrible (and even more terrible when you find out just how isolated these are percentage wise to the entire city). My guess is that it will end up around 715-725 as things usually slow down once it gets cold. However, it's been warmer than usual in Chicago so far, so that is not helping things.
As of 11/11, Chicago says 668 homicides.
HeyJackass says 683 homicides, which includes self-defense and police-related shootings.
Dnainfo says 651 homicides.
step back guys
580 murders in LA County so far this year, 265 of them in the city itself
The murder rate is mucb better than the past, but LA needs ti keep Pushing the criminal class out to Las Vegas. Hope LA doesn't hit the 300 club this year.
Atlanta is at 90 now as of the end of October. With still two more more months remaining, I think it will break 100.
