Actually that's not the case but previous grievances been ongoing prior to the rise of Dril. Matter of fact it's actually mixed opinions on drill from the local rappers themselves. Anybody commenting on Chicago Street scene needs to watch Chicago World News, a YouTuber who actually be going to and through the neighborhoods everybody be talking about on here.

It's the fact that kids don't respect the older gangsters.
They split off and create their own clicks and sets.

The whole GD blackstone label is just a label now.
Not a brotherhood.

They go around shooting with no planning.

You can see the impact that the crime and despair in those areas is having through the 5-year census estimates for the city:

Downtown: +42,423
North/Northwest: +7,004
West Side: -1,821
Southwest: +8,950
South Lakefront: +7,512
South Side: -49,847

yeah theres absolutely no structure esp on the south sde

These guys are really just claiming gd or bd or whatever b/c of neighborhood tradition and family ties

Historically speaking, Memphis had the highest homicide rate at 90 around 1916 (?).
