So far this year, I believe that Portland, Oregon still has had only the one homicide I mentioned almost two months ago.

Portland has two thus far. The first was a gang-related shooting in the inner-east side; the second was this case, apparently still unsolved:

Lots of times news reports will post something like "10th homicide this year."

Cincinnati also post a police report on their official website around the 15th of each month that shows the all the crime stats.
