A couple of decades ago a small village in Upstate New York had experienced a series of deaths from car accidents to suicide, and several murders. I lived in the town for a year while I attended the local community college, though that was quite a while before the curse deaths started. As far as I know things have settled down for the most part, but those few years still keep some folks uneasy.

I don't believe there has been a murder in the town since the year 2000. Odd to have that spike prior to then.
