Shudder.

That could be true.

What is heart breaking is she appeared to truly love him. He killed the children she adored and her. What a betrayal. Horrible.

That could be true have smothered the children. but the news say the children were strangled.

of which the husband saw his wife strangled them on the monitor.

Yes.
Few articles on line speculating he killed the children first, I believe true. The barbie doll prop on the sofa done by Watts too. He stayed with the kids during the week she was away on a business trip for a new job cramping his hidden lifestyle.

In all the TV interviews of Chris Watts, it shows no scratches on his arms or neck. He had a short arm sleeve shirt on. If someone has a link to show me there were any scratches, I d be convinced.

There was a video of him working out. She's no match for his strength.
DNA scrapings should tell the story ( we hope ) and reason for asking earlier in the thread.

You can see red marks/scratches towards the left side of his neck in this interview video.

Every time I read true crime stories, I wonder what could have gone horribly wrong in someone's life that led them to murder someone else.

Just to be the devils advocate, the wife killed the children, he killed the wife. Instead of calling the police, he disposes of the bodies and then claims they are "missing" and "pleads" for their return. How can he or anyone else possibly retain a calm demeanor having had this happen to his children. Oh, and he was cunning enough to create a massive lie. He's guilty.

OMG, for all we know; she didn’t know a darn thing about the affair. He could have killed her in her sleep. She had told friends she was worried because he had been treating her differently but HE is the one who reported that they had an “emotional” conversation.

After all the lying about “she took the kids & went to see a friend”, of course.
I saw Ashley Banfield on HLN say that the police are releasing very little info on this case as not to jeopardize this case, including the results of the autopsy. According to HLN, he is desparately looking for a technicality to get out of this. I would like to know what they were wearing when they were found. If the children were wearing street clothing, it indicates that these children were not killed in the middle of the night by her.
