The guy followed the classic predator modus operandi: Find someone who he could exploit, then use a tactic to overcome them and keep them in captivity. Hope they keep him locked up forever. Lots of these types out there.

I guess it's some form of humanity of another kind. Scary stuff reading about 10% of that court document.
