It sounded like he is counting on suppression of the tapping/recording.
Without more details it's hard to know how that will turn out.

Neat. Well we will all get to see just how innocent he really is....or how guilty.
I'm sure at some point, when the Feds show dear ol' Blago just how much they have on him he'll sing like a song bird...(for a reduced sentence...) naming all sorts of people...implicating them deeply.
I'll be neat to see just how high and how far this goes....perhaps all the way to the top???

Blago sounds like Johnny Carson on helium. Plus he appears to have restricted his wardrobe to black jogging suits. None of this is good.

I think he should be lured into a padded room and be given mind-altering drugs while Kipling's "If", read by Barney Frank (or Barney Fife) is looped repeatedly over a loudspeaker.

Then after thirty days, shave his head.

That's the Chicago "guido" look.

Surprise, surprise. He's going to fight to the last breath in defense of his innocence. Richard Nixon promised the same thing.

I really hope that doesn't happen...around here we want him in with his counterpart Ryan if he is indeed guilty.

While he lived the life of a jet setter in Chicago, he was closing our state parks down and everything else service related that he could just to keep enough money in the budget for his haircuts and to put fuel in "our" plane.

He may have a 'death grip' on some people (politically). His statement about his fighting until his last breath may come sooner than later if that's the case ... IMHO he's a cornered man with a civil-war-for-all-time type of personality - the type of person who'd throw a rock at a military tank as a last act of defiance.

He may have had his hand in the "candy jar" but I think many other Illinois politicians have too. He probably has "dirt" on others. Not saying he's completely innocent, but it does seem that something with the IL senate is not right here.
