Give him a trillion dollar bail.
"A judge ruled Monday that Bernard Madoff would not be sent to jail pending trial, declining a request by prosecutors to revoke the bail of the financier accused in a $50 billion fraud case."

I think it's ridiculous that he would get to live in his $7,000,000+ penthouse while really small-time crooks are forced to be raped in jail for crimes that amount to theft of 25 minutes worth of interest on a Madoff bank account of stolen funds. I think white collar criminals should be sent to federal "pound-me-in-the-*****" prisons and not white-collar resort prisons...

Either that or let one of the inmates live with him, and then "pound-me-in-the-*****" prisons

This guy should not be allowed out of jail. The risk that he will "disappear" like the money he swindled from unsuspecting people is just too big. I hope he will rot in jail.

Money money money money, money [x6]
Some people got to have it
Some people really need it
Listen to me y'all, do things, do things, do bad things with it
You wanna do things, do things, do things, good things with it
Talk about cash money, money
Talk about cash money- dollar bills, yall
For the love of money
People will steal from their mother
For the love of money
People will rob their own brother
For the love of money
People can't even walk the street
Because they never know who in the world they're gonna beat
For that lean, mean, mean green
Almighty dollar, money
For the love of money
People will lie, Lord, they will cheat
For the love of money
People don't care who they hurt or beat
For the love of money
A woman will sell her precious body
For a small piece of paper it carries a lot of weight
Call it lean, mean, mean green
Almighty dollar

If there was ever a call for public humiliation in the town square, this is it!
Any ideas for props on the humiliation part? Should he be coined to misery, where people can throw pennies, nickels and dimes at him in a fountain filled with horse manure? Should he be fed one-dollar bills for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Ideas?......

Some at least are encouraged by this victory for the Rule of Law. The government bears a burden of proof by the preponderance of evidence that Madoff poses a flight risk or that he constitutes a further risk to society. As he is under house-arrest and 24-hour guard, the government was not able to meet that burden. Motion denied...
