Exactly. As Bundy fathered a child with the woman he married while he was on Death Row and one of the Menendez brothers also married while on DR, so many hapless, hopeless social rejects and needy in some areas of both sexes blindly attach themselves to inmates.
Perpetual/recidivist inmates have nothing much else to do with their time than, with the assistance of seasoned inmate professionals, hone their skills at milking the insecure and the bleeding hearts. They really don't even HAVE to be cute, just have to learn and refine the gift of the gab and rein them in. They can be most convincing and have lots of time on their hands to learn how to be so.
And may have the probability of having a child with the same mental illness.
