We will be signing a lease tomorrow for a house here in Oro Valley. It is very close to work, has a very nice yard, great view of the mountain, and great landlords.

Now, we need to go and get utilities set-up and finish the move here. Wow, what a relief this is finally starting to end.....

I used to live very near there when I first retired in 1994.
You will love it when the thunder rolls through the edges of the mountains when the monsoons start.

Congrats Mike. Enjoy the area. I lived there for a while but it was just too far for me to commute. Beware of flash floods during the monsoon. We saw many flooded streets when I lived there.

Welcome, MIke! Where I am in OV, we don't get much flooding, but the monsoons are gorgeous!!! I hope you'll love it here! I'm up against Pusch Peak on the East side of Oracle and it's beautiful! City lights at night, mountains during day...

Hi Everyone, this is Mikes partner. The house is beautiful and the area is great. We will enjoy it very much I am sure. Now getting all our stuff here, setting it up and then finding a job. After that life will be pretty close to perfect.

Hi Catco, I have been traveling here for the past 7 years and have always stayed at the Hampton Inn on Oracle near River road. I have never really seen traffic to be bad. My commute does not take me out of OV so I can only comment on my previous visits.
