Question Questions for Home Owners

Just a few questions to help me and others in the home buying experience.

Who built your home? What area do you live in? How long have you lived in your home? Are you satisfied/dissatisfied with the quality?

Please share your stories...whether good or bad, your stories can help someone by potentially keeping them from making the same mistake or by leading them down the right path.

I look foward to reading your stories...thanks for sharing them.

Gr8ful1,

I've lived in a few different places in town. Originally I was in a 1996 Richmond American home located in Continental Ranch, west of I-10 on Cortaro Road. Home was great quality, I've heard some homeowners had roof issues but I think that was another builder. The area was just coming up around then and I had a great time living there. Now it is a bit more congested but there is plenty of shopping and entertainment popping up. When they fiiiiiinally get the Twin Peaks/Linda Vista interchange done that will help expand the area even more.

I currently live in a Pulte home up in Gladden Farms and I like it even more! Pulte has a pretty good reputation for building a quality home also, just do a search on Google and see what you get. The area is a bit further out (west of I-10 between Tangerine and Marana exits) but is coming along nicely. There are walking trails and parks, and careful attention is paid to the landscaping. They are completing a new Tangerine interchange and Fry's shopping center by next Spring and that should be nice when done.

Hope this helps!

I used to live in a Richmond American home when I was in college. Apparently we had a bad batch if tile installed by the builder. The tile kept cracking all over the house. The builder finally decided to replace it all. They were very good about it. However chipping up an entire house of tile with people living in the house is a nightmare.

I prefer older block homes now. I currently live in the North East part of town in a 1970s home. I don't know who built it. I prefer older block homes with large lots. Most of the newer homes are on 6000-8000 sf lots. I love the area we live in now.
