renting in tucson (apartment complexes, to rent, bad credit)

my name's brooke, and my husband and i are looking for a home to rent for at least a month, if not longer. does anyone know of a place that either doesn't do credit checks or accepts bad credit? we want a 2 bed/1 or 2 bath place with a yard(we have a 45 pound boxer). northwest side or central, under $700.00/mon.

It's kind of tough... I don't believe people would bother renting a house to you for a month or so. Some apartment complexes take dogs up to 80 lbs, which I personally find disgusting, but FYI. They normally do credit checks. Some of the decent ones might agree on month-to-month basis. There are some complexes that do operate on month-to-month basis in general and don't do credit checks. Understandably, they're pretty bad. Maybe you can look into renting a trailer in a park or in the outskirts of the city... have absolutely no knowledge how this works, though.

Most area's in town that rent by the month do so to winter type visitors and they generally are in the Foothills area (very expensive)...you'll be hard pressed in Tucson to find someone willing to rent for just a month and NOT do a background check and allow a dog. Good luck in your quest...
