Young Professionals
So I'm thinking young professionals should get together in Tucson and work to make it more appealing and attractive to their demographic, make the politicians realize that they're a sleeping giant of a voice. I see a lot of young professionals around, but they seem to be doing their own little thing, sometimes it seems everyone's complaining about there not being a lot of them around, but maybe it could be as simple as them not knowing each other's out there.
Of course, Tucson's not Phoenix. For a million people, it feels and seems very small.
But something's gotta change here, and instead of ******ing about it, I propose we do something about it.

Tucson has so much potential that its sickening. I really do believe it could be the Portland, Austin, Seattle for the Southwest But you have backwards city admins who have no clue on how to properly build a city financially and physically...

Things are changing for the better. Just look at the new downtown lofts. If we don't vote down prop 200 we may be in for a real water battle. I'm a Tucson native and a Realtor so if you need any Tucson info just ask me. emccauley@longrealty.com

There is a Young Professional Group that has recently been formed in Tucson. Its website currently is Tucson's Young Professionals - www.TucsonsYoungProfessionals.org (broken link) and will be updated soon. We are working on making the city a better place for our demographic. If the website is not updated, you can contact Jason listed on the website to be added to the list. A few things being worked on are speaking out against Prop 200, and getting First Friday events started at the Tucson Museum of Art beginning in December.
