Hello new neighbors!
My wife and I started exploring Tucson in early spring, visited late June, early July (there is a thread here about our very positive impressions) and as of today, will be homeowners in about a month. We had submitted a contract on a house in July but lost out to a higher offer but one came up literally yesterday and we put in a full price contract and signed it all tonight. Actually two full-price contracts put in within three hours of the listing going up, fortunately ours was cleaner for the seller. Might say something about the Tucson real estate market
We'll be in the Sunflower community up in Marana. Won't be there full-time for two to three years due to family commitments back East but will be spending six months of the winter out there. Looking forward to meeting more Tucsonians (Tucsonites?) as we spend more time out there. Thanks to the very helpful and friendly people on this forum for guidance as we explored the area.
