Default Good coffee in Tucson/Oro Valley

Does anyone have suggestions about where to get good coffee in Oro Valley or Tucson? We are visiting from Washington. We love the area, but really miss that robust Java.

If that good cup goes with good breakfast that would be wonderful.

Interesting question, KC in PT

Since relocating to Tucson about ten years, I've learned to brew my own coffee at home and then drink juice, water or beer (only joking) while eating breakfast in a restaurant.

Unfortunately, great Coffee and Seafood are NO NO's in Tucson.

Bummer. My husband makes great coffee so I guess I'll stick with that. But I like your idea about beer. It is pretty warm here (that's a good thing...)

LOL . . . BEER? ONLY if you eat a very late breakfast! ! ! ! !

Back to the subject . . . it is kinda sad the lack of good coffee in the restaurants around town. There are some fairly decent coffee shops but no food, just sweet rolls and stuff.

Now I do know a great "authentic" Micro Brewery with fairly decent bar food, decent prices and patio dining if you're interested.

Ok, if I get "spanked" it is all your fault!

THUNDER CANYON BREWERY
East side of The Foothills Mall
La Cholla and Ina Roads

FANTASTIC BREWS (my favorite is their IPA)

Good Luck!
