People with guns built the US and people with guns will certainly keep it!

I agree completely! A firearm is a tool like any other. No more or no less. My wife is an extremely good shot and I never worry about her if I happen to be away from her.

You folks who are still dispensing advice to the OP are wasting your time. This is the only post she ever made to CD and hasn't been back to the site since last year.

I agree; I am an Arizona native and a strong believer in the Second Amendment and the OP has to realize that there are people in Arizona who open carry all the time, including myself. If that offends them, then they either need to learn to get used to that, or move somewhere else.

To the OP RHLauren, I've had guns (pistols and rifles) since 1979 and I've never had to use one for self-defense. I've only used my guns for hunting, shooting paper targets at gun ranges, and competitive shooting. The way I see it, a bad guy is going to break laws that pertain to guns, they won't care about a law that tells him that he cannot possess a firearm. Plus, if a bad guy had a choice between 2 people to assault or rob, and one of them is armed and ready to protect themselves, and the other is not, who do you think that bad guy is going to pick?

The entire state of Arizona is friendly to law-abiding gun owners and it is a very safe state to live in.

these "worried" folks rarely can do the green, thus i recommend the red.

I would not walk up to someone wearing a gun and promote a liberal agenda.

non-threatening verbiage or actions keeps the firearm holstered.
