Smile Planning to move in 2 or 3 years

Hi everyone - new to this forum, but whatever...

I'm 17, but I have fully considered moving to Tucson when I've finished college.
I hope to move to somewhere in the East, preferably close to Houghton Road. (best around Poorman Rd.)

Since I have a while to wait before being able to move, I was wondering if anyone could suggest any ways I could prepare to make the process a little more streamlined when the time comes.

Oh yeah, and if it makes any difference, I'm from England... Just something to consider with suggestions

Before moving out here, visit at different times of the year, I would strongly suggest July and August.
Also check out the job picture.
maybe not where you want to live if you are considering a strong career path, just my opinion.

By all means, visit in June, July, or August! If you can tolerate that time of year, you're pretty well set.

Career path thoughts?
Well, here's some areas I know are doing well in Tucson, if you have the credentials required for one of these fields:

Electrical Engineer
Doctor
Nurse
Research Scientist (especially if hired by U of A: Medical School, or Optics/Astronomy areas)

There's probably more . . . . but do your HOMEWORK . . . check this website: www.tucsonjobs.com

Welcome and Good Luck!
