1015 E 9th St is between 6th Street and Broadway, and both are bus routes. I used to take the 6th Street bus downtown when I lived in Sam Hughes neighborhood, which is immediately east of campus. The U-Pass program gives University of Arizona students, faculty and staff unlimited rides wherever Sun Tran goes (Welcome to Sun Tran - Tucson, Arizona), and the UA will pay up to 50 percent of the cost. Fares & Passes : College Passes : University of Arizona U-Pass - Sun Tran - Tucson, AZ

You are not on the new streetcar route, but not far from it; and you can transfer from buses. The streetcar system is called Sun Link. Sun Link - The Tucson Streetcar

I remember reading in the newspaper that Sun Tran is highly regarded and won a national first-place award for its ability to get people to work around the metro area. ("...Named America's Best Transit System for 2005 by the American Public Transportation Association and Arizona's Best Transit for 2012 and 2004 by the Arizona Transportation Association...") Welcome to Sun Tran - Tucson, Arizona
