I will be pulling at 34 foot RV 5th wheel on Interstate 8 from San Diego to Casa Grande. How is this interstate for traveling with an RV vehicle......mountain passes, elevation climbs etc. Any help is appreciated.

There are some grades and rough pavement in places. Overall not bad, but I've only done with car.

I took that route last summer in my old 35-foot Bounder back and forth from Anthem to Coronado Island. No trouble at all.

Once you get to the bottom of the grade in Ocotillo it is smooth sailing the rest of the way. Smooth sailing meaning quite level except for a small grade just east of Yuma. Bigger issue is Border Patriol as I was detained for an hour heading back to AZ from Diego due to a young BP agent trying to flex his muscles. Pretty much the only stress is the first 90 miles from Diego to Ocotillo. The wind is always howling between Pine Valley and Jacumba too.
