Anyone know of a good place for new carpet? I've been ripped off a few times so I usually stick with Home Depot but if there is someone better I'd appreciate any referrals.

After this I'll try to get a list of questions in one thread.

Thanks!

Just DON'T call that 800 588 2300 NUMBER!
They have the worst padding on the planet!

No matter where you get your carpet, the PADDING is a very VERY critical piece of the puzzle.
Good padding will make bad carpet look and feel great - where bad padding will make great carpet horrible.

Bobbie Joe's Rug Works is great. Their pricing and service is better than Home Depot. We used them to carpet our rental and will not hesitate to use them for our own home when needed. They were referred to me by many others.

Thanks so much. Definitely good padding!

Thanks jksn75 - I'll call them when we're ready.
