I am going crazy trying to get piano teachers to call me back--you would think if they weren't accepting new students, they would state that on their website... I need some recommendations for a young teen who has now been out of lessons far too long, please! We will travel, but would prefer central or east, somewhere within 30 minutes of Speedway and Harrison (in any direction).

Thanks!

Maybe you are in a cultural wasteland.....? Your post just caught my eye.....will teach in the future myself. But I do notice that some places it is harder to find good teachers.....Big cities.....like LA, NY, Boston etc..... youll find great teachers. Another note,,,,,if there are really good music schools around, will find good teachers....how is the Music Dept at Univ. Of Arizona.....start there>

Try the Schoolhouse of Rock - on 4th Avenue: https://www.facebook.com/sfshor/ - I know it's not the location you'd like, but I also know that the folks who run this school really care about what they do and really want the students to succeed and enjoy the music learning and music making processes.

Music teachers are notoriously difficult to setup initial contact with - I've had this problem in every city I've lived in as have many of the folks I know who are musicians or aspiring musicians (no, ChristinPlovesME, Tucson is not a cultural wasteland).
