pool water
Can someone tell me ,
how do people fill their swimming pools with water?
I need to fill our pool,its 12,000 gals.

A hose works.
Seriously, if you're on city water, just use a hose. If this is a new pool and you have plaster curing, you might want to use more than one hose from multiple hose bibs to fill your pool more quickly. 12,000 gallons will only take something like 8 or 10 hours. You're far better off using city water to fill your pool than calling in a water truck. With city water, you know what you're getting, and it's drinking quality. With trucked in water, you can't really be sure what you've got.
If you have a well, the decision is more complicated. If you're worried about the water level in the well, then you probably want a water truck.
