Yes, I noted this exact same thing. You did, indeed, refer to Bygeorge's post by saying, "That statement sounds extremely judgemental and you won't build a character profile from this website I'm afraid." Also, I wasn't aware that we were here to "build character profiles." You asked a question. Bygeorge provided you with some sound advice. Especially about the rattlesnakes. I neglected to mention those.

Hello,

Yes, He did give me sound advice and I did say it sounded extremely judgemental, I admit it, and at the time, in my opinion, it DID sound judgemental.
Particularly when a person brings up past posts which have nothing directly to do with Arizon and puts you on the spot, saying:
"You've been at this moving thing for............"

My business here is to ask questions, not get a judgement call/opinion on why I haven't moved yet, however subtle, from anyone.
If people don't want to answer, they/you don't have to.

Incidentally:
Why has this post taken a "Let's point out the error of his ways" twist?

This is between him and I, not you, if I may say so.

Our conversation Jukesgrrl is over. Please stop posting in non-relevant answers & material.
Stefos

Someone told me everyone is either a fern or a lizard. You might be a lizard living in the wrong place that's why the desert is calling you. I'm also a lizard and right now live in so cal. I plan on moving to Tucson asap though and visit whenever I can. Tucson is beautiful and peaceful and the people are so friendly opposite of where I live now. I suggest you visit AZ and get a feel of everything on person and scout around to see if it has your many interests.

Hi Finper,

Thank you for your kind words and not attacking me or my motives.

It is beautiful there actually................I can't afford California, which is the actual place that I would probably love to live in. Maybe in the future.....not now.

I believe that Phoenix is a very key located city and If I move to Tuscon, I believe that Phoenix
would be where most of what I want to do would be largely accessible.
I can't move to Phoenix due to the branch of the Federal gov't I'm currently in not offering any jobs there!

I have been scouting Tuscon and it has many of the off work things that I enjoy however.

Thanks again,
Stefos

I'm a Ca native and I can barely afford to live here. Ca has good weather but that's it it's really spiraling down.
Phoenix is a 2 hour drive from Tucson. It's a boring drive but Az fwys are great! Very clean and smooth and no traffic

Very interesting, Finper . . .

I relocated to Tucson from Walnut Creek (prior to that, Newport Beach) almost twenty years ago primarily for those very same reasons.

My only complaint . . . "Why did I wait so long?"

For what it's worth . . . I find the weather in Tucson to be better overall than either the Bay Area or Orange County's weather. Also, let's not even think of comparing The People and/or The Traffic, as Tucson will win with flying colors.
