Oh, c'mon... bunnies are cute! Besides, they don't even taste all that good...

Not jackrabbits, but cottontails taste like.. chicken! Besides, coyotes don't care, they'll eat anything! In fact, a jackrabbit might be considered a gourmet meal for Wylie Coyote!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I don't care for jackrabbits so much, but cottontails are the cutest things! My office has a backyard next to a wash and we have all kinds of wildlife. Bunnies are my buddies! The ground squirrels started showing up, too. And they're growing bolder and bolder every year! Yesterday one was only a few feet away from us. There are so many tunnels around that I have the feeling some day we may sink walking back there.

If it tastes like chicken, eat chicken! God, that reminds me... my Grandpa used to always have 2 pigs. He loved them - named them, pet them, gave them the best food... and then... Christmas comes... Poor things somehow know when their time comes... (btw, pigs are supposedly intelligent animals) Yesterday you were a pet, today you're food.

The things ya'll talk about!! I miss the jackrabbits I got used to in NM..all we have here are regular short-legged little buggers that end up squashed on the highway. Don't have any of those jackalopes either
