Depends on location and not size of your property. I left a very congested, very noisy neighborhood and now live on 1.6 acres. I very rarely hear my neighbors due to all of us being on 1-2 acre lots.

I'm rural and cannot hear a break in dog barks and howls at night. It's constant and without spacing. Sounds like WEEOOWWAARRFFFWWOOOOOOHHOOOO all night. I just theorize that they are keeping the coyotes at bay and try to embrace it lol
