Question about vehicle registration in AZ. (Phoenix, Tucson: inspection, cost, moving to)

Hi everybody, I will be moving to Tucson in early May and would like to find out approximately what it will cost to register my pickup truck in AZ. I've heard different stories about how expensive it is to register a vehicle in AZ., and would like to know if anybody can help me out. BTW, my truck is a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Thanks to all who respond.

Registration in Arizona is based on the value of the vehicle. Since your Toyota is about 4 years old now, my best estimate would be in the $200 range.

I'd guess between 300-400 every year(just a guess though). It goes down every year though with the value of your car decreasing. You have to get an inspection done that'll cost around $17 the first time if I remember correctly, but only cars made in 2003 will have to pass emissions this year. Yours will be next year.
