Try driving on the roads here in Illinois too. Yesterday, on one of our major highways, (rout 80 near 355) my wife hit a pothole so big it destroyed the tire and bent the wheel. When I was driving there to change her tire I saw and dodged at least 3 aditional ones so big that they could cause major damage to a car.

Also since it has been so hot here (not that we don't see these temps from time to time) we have had some buckling on some roads bad enough to necessitate closure. (State Route 59 two days ago)

what you said was so perfect. People seem to forget about history in this country and how it directly applies to today. But, unless you have read alot of books out of high school/college, you really don't learn about our "true history", it's just a bunch of regurgitated short stories. Our history is riddled with violence, lies, slavery and lets not forget that the real natives of this country have been rendered helpless and practically wiped off of the map, this is reality. This can explain the way things are now. It was the grand plan, and a plan that worked very well.

I saw you and your love on th telli--it hurt me down deep to the core.

one look at his picture, you could tell good was within. real good, the kind that followed him even when he was alone, no one around to be impressed by it. i'm certain he left more behind than he took with him. lately, i wonder why God allows some of the good to leave us, i suppose they're a heap more enjoyable to be around... don't seem right, or maybe it does and i've the wrong eyes for seeing it. congragulations on your son-incredible gift, i bet you see his dad in him. don't know how you're rolling in the spirtual sense, but i'm going to make my knees sore praying for you and your child tonight.
