Rusty60 is on a distinguished road
Default relocation within Tucson

First of all, haters of Tucson, I don't want to hear from you. I need opinions from those who love it here as much as I do.

Now that said I'd like to hear about people's experiences with living on the South Side, particularly in the area of Country Club Road and 28th Street. I found a sweet deal on a nice house for rent and am excited about the possibility of grabbing it. However, in my short time near the central Foothills, I've been spoiled by not yet being directly affected by crime, so I'm nervous about leaving my neighborhood. I can't justify living in my impossibly small apartment for more than the cost of that house, but if 28th and Country Club is a high-crime area, then I'll stay put. What are your experiences with crime and quality of life on the South Side, particularly that area? Thanks for your help.

Well, never mind crime, but it's in/almost in the Julia Keen neighborhood...

Julia Keen in Tucson Arizona, Julia Keen Neighborhood Guide and Business Directory.

It's notorious for airplane noise. No wonder the house is cheap.

I love Tucson, Rusty . . .

However, having worked in that general area for a few years, I would never choose to live there.

Depending on where you work and/or play . . . there must be better choices!

Good Luck
