Hi, I'm looking to move to Oro Valley within the next year. I'm a retired senior lady, nearing 70, on her own w/o pets. Will be renting either an apartment or (preferably) a small house. Would like advice about the safest, most quiet and well maintained areas. A place with/near other seniors would be great but isn't an absolute. My budget for rent is 1500. per month but I can stretch it to 1800. per month if some utilities are included. Is my price range possible for OV? Any areas to avoid? Don't need luxury but do need low crime and quiet and neat. Thanks for your help.

I live about a stone's throw outside of OV and my subdivision built in the late 80's actually has one section that was originally designed for seniors. Two bedroom houses with small lots and $1500 with current rental prices would put you into something if they became available. Very quiet and extremely safe. That section of the development is at least 50% seniors.

Send me a PM for the location to scout out.
