Default Moving To Tucson

I am new on this forum, but I would love some information on Tucson and some opinions. My family recently found out that the company my Dad works for is moving to Arizona. They have offered my Dad a job to come with them which means we will be moving to Tucson. If my Dad does not take the job he will most likely be unemployed and not make the large amount of money he makes now if we don't choose to go.

I was wondering is anyone could give me some information on some of the more well-established and put together as well as safer neighborhoods of Tucson.

If it helps, we are looking at houses that are between the range of $100,000-$150,000 and have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

I have started looking at homes for sale on the internet, but after reading such negativity about Tucson I am considering what districts of Tucson I want to look into at houses.

What area of town will your Dad be working in? With the ongoing I-10 construction (http://www.i10tucsondistrict.com/29toP.html - broken link) and the lack of an extensive freeway system these sorts of questions certainly come into play when looking for a house.

We are not sure yet, they are currently planning to come out and look for a building to move the company too. Tucson is possibly out of the question now that we were informed that we need a short driving distance to Chino Valley. So possibly somewhere up north is in question now.

Wow, like the Chino Valley north of Prescott? If so you'll probably have better luck posting in the general Arizona or Phoenix forums.

Yep. My Dad's company is working with the mines in Chino Valley, so we have to move somewhere between Pheonix and Chino Valley. My Dad had told us Tucson and didn't realize is is a 3 hour drive to Chino. lol.
