Default Recommendation for Auto Window Tinting

Hi there

We just got a car that has no window tint and was wondering where would be a good place to go tint the windows.

Does anyone have any good recommendation for reasonable price?

Thank you very much in advance.

No question about it use an authorized dealer who uses 3M products.

I had my house and car done by Sundial. 3M guarantees the actual tint AND the labor. They came the same day I called. They have three choices of darkness, I chose the darkest one for the east and west facing windows. You still get light but it's like a mild shade light and when the sun directly hits it it's a bit brighter but reflects the sun away. The car will be whatever the law allows or lighter if you want.

3M sun control film is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation and keeps 97% of UVA and UVB out and 78% of the heat.

It's for real, my two birds that live here tried to go to bed when the guy left at 5:30 pm and they usually go at 7:30 because they have a sensor in the brain that operates from sunlight.

I can drive all day and not be bothered now.

$135.00 for each house window 5ft x 5ft and 100 for the car/SUV. Make sure you get the big strip over the rear view mirror it's the best part.

I've had great luck with Affordable Window Tinting, they actually do the tinting for several car dealers in town and have very reasonable rates. (And they are 3M certified also)

Thank you for the info. Will pop by both The Specialist and Affordable Window Tinting for a quote.

Thanks again!

An update.

Gonna do the tint at Affordable. The price is reasonable and the service was good. Will update again. My appointment is end of next week.

Cheers!

The wife and I had both of our cars done at Affordable and had an excellent experience. We opted for the top of the line ceramic 3M and paid half of what The Specialists quoted us for the same film. I think the Specialists are a good company, but they're rates are higher simply because they're better known.

I was really surprised at the level of service Affordable gave us. Normally you would expect a lack of customer service as the trade off for a lower price but that was not the case in our experience.

I also had mine done at Affordable on Grant. They did a great job. It has been years and no problems. Customer service was also very good and prices were reasonable.
