Good luck! I totally feel your pain. I had a car stolen when I lived in Baltimore.
You may want to call the impound lots around town. Mine was taken for a joy ride and abandoned. The cops had it towed to the impound and never bothered to call me. If I hadn't called them, I wouldn't have known it was found. I'm not sure if Tucson works the same way, but it's at least something you can do to try to find it.

My truck was stolen way back when I lived in Flagstaff. I totally can relate to that. Whats even more discouraging is that it was stolen the week my final payment was due.

I'm a little confused, swtlilmindy . . .
At 10AM you realized your car has been stolen and yet you made this post at 8:20AM? Where are you? Where was your vehicle prior to being stolen?
F.Y.I. . . . as of 9:10AM the Internet Theft Report maintained by the Office of the Attorney General does indicate your vehicle to be stolen.
Being a Car Nut myself, I can only imagine how aggravating this must be.
Good Luck

Sorry. That's one of the thieves' favorite makes. I used to have an '89 Camry. It topped the list of stolen cars for years (for some reason even the year makes a difference; no idea why) - not because it was new; they steal them for parts.

Well, some people keep out-of-state cell phone numbers, but the timing of the post is off, too, as Bummer mentioned. Perhaps she posted in the wrong forum.
Oh, now I noticed it's a first post, too. Highly unlikely to be panicked about your stolen car and all of a sudden find CD and register... I'd say we've been pranked just for fun or it's an attempt of posting something nasty on this forum.

I understand completely.
Been there, done that.
One of our cars was stolen a year or so ago. It's EXACTLY like that commercial where the guy's car was stolen and the ad talks about who surreal it is. I felt like if I turned around, went back inside and came out again the car would somehow be there again.
In any event I REALLY hope you get your car back and that it was taken for joy ride rather than to a chop shop.
We were fortunate. When I came outside and found the car stolen there was a nearly identical car parked across the street. At first I thought it was OUR car but the color was a little different. I reported the theft to the police and a few hours later got a call that they found our car a short distance away. I walked over there and sure enough there was our car. It was intact but the gas tank was nearly empty. I also noted the drivers seat was in a near-recline position and pushed all the way back. The cop told me he was in the neighborhood looking for another stolen Saturn and remembered seeing our car parked a few hours earlier. He remembered it because it so resembled the stolen vehicle he was looking for at the time.
When I told him a similar car was found across the street from my house his face lit up and proclaimed "Really?".
So, I drove back to our house (in my car) with him following and sure enough the vehicle parked across the street was THE stolen Saturn he was looking for. It was in good condition, with a near-empty fuel tank and the drivers seat pulled all the way back and reclining.
So, TWO cars were returned to their owners that morning.
Later I saw on the news how a guy with a master-key was arrested for stealing and joy-riding over 150 cars. Not sure, but I'm guessing it may have been the same guy.
I immediately bought the "Club".
Interestingly enough. It's not the NEWER cars that are so likely to be stolen, but rather the older vehicle for which there is usually a large demand for parts. Particularly desirable by thieves are those makes/models that had the same body style for a good number of years. There is usually a big market for such parts.
I REALLY hope you get your car back.
Ken

Right, Suzie . . . Fort Worth, Texas.
However, it could be a "relocated" cell phone or it could be the car was actually in Texas when stolen.

Hope you get your vehicle back, swtlilmindy. Sounds like another car needed for parts.
By the way, does swtlilmindy mean that you are sweet, or that you are SWEATY?
