Even such details as the seat belt are visible...?

Oh yes! The cameras from the redlights as well as the one that flashes and puts your little picture into their database as well. It had 4 pics. One of the plate, 2 of the car and 'violation' and one of the driver closer up. Yikes

Having lived in the Indy area I can say that I've never seen the enforcement like they have here. Including the photo enforcement vans as well.

Yeah, of all the great things Tucson has to offer, it's not a very driver friendly city. There are lots of stop lights, and maximum speed is 35 to 40 mph around the city and 45 mph just about everywhere else except the freeway. And this is on four lane, media separated roads. It takes FOREVER to get anywhere. When you add the big brother tactics of speed cameras and mobile radar traps and it's enough to make you stay home and become a hermit. I'm amazed that these Gestapo tactics exist in such an otherwise liberal community.

Weird. I was just thinking how great the speed limits were on Houghton at 55 mph. Even closer to city conveniences. That wasn't like that in MI. And again on Valencia at 50 mph.
