OK, back to the point of the post...

Think about wide brimmed hat or at least a hat with a visor, and don't forget sunblock!

SPF 1000 or so ought to do.

I agree about the hat thing. Not sure if you have kids or not. I found we got a floppy hat for my daughter, sunglasses and a nice insulated water bottle for school. (We got her a Funtainer and it keeps water cold for HOURS!).
