Exclamation Dead cats in Rita Ranch - warning.. graphic

Hey have you guys heard about this?

Apparently two cats have been found recently in Purple Heart Park (Rita Ranch) cut in HALF! I heard some people talking about it so I'm trying to find out some more information; they had mentioned they saw it on the local news last night but I can't find anything on their websites.

Disturbing, to say the least. What's even more disturbing is that they haven't found the other halves yet..

If anyone has heard anything please share.

Maybe somebody believes in half-cat sacrifice. When I first read the title I was wondering why this should be any news... at the rate of foreclosures in Rita Ranch I wouldn't be surprised by any number and kind of dead creatures there...

Zing! But still a little unsettling. And to be honest most of the damage seems to be done for now in Rita Ranch, actually in most of Tucson. Compared to several months ago things are looking much better in terms of short sales/foreclosures.

Just checked the MLS and there are only a couple of active short sale listings and one bank owned home.

I was mighty surprised when I looked at this site today (I follow it):

HousingTracker.net: Collecting, Interpreting and Disseminating Real Estate Data

At first I was floored when I looked at Phoenix (what in the world can happen in a week…), but the results in the first little table don't jive with the previous weeks. Something must've gone awfully wrong with the data last week because there's no way this is true. Same goes for Atlanta & Miami - it's not humanly possible to have an inventory of 115K...

Btw, my dear builder keeps selling for peanuts... Guess I did catch a falling knife just like the so-called by some tin-foil hats were saying. Wish I listened to them about the house, too, 'cause I certainly did OK when I got out of the market when I did based on their advice.

Are there any others? In the Relationships forum we get ads for sites promoting married people's cheating - lovely...

Your dear builder has pulled this in many markets across the country and I don't trust them at all. It is bad enough when the economy whacks you, but when the builder whacks you that is really irritating.

Your kitties are just fine (inside that is )! I've never heard of anything like this in the area before and I certainly don't believe anybody would break in in order to chop them in half.
