My daughter and her 4 kids ages 3-8 will be visiting in late October, and we all love bike riding, but they are flying in. We live near Rooney Ranch, Sports Authority and Home Depot on Oracle, and was wondering if there are bike rental places where we could rent an adult bike and 4 kid bikes (the 3 year old rides a two wheeler with training wheels) for a week. Also, by then, Dick's and Wal-Mart up the street might be open. Thanks in advance for any help!

My suggestion, Marcy . . . try the Bike Shops in the area.

Well, the thing is, I'm not there right now, and I don't have a Tucson phone book. I'm in Colorado. I'll be coming to OV with them in October. (Yes, we have a condo in OV, but I've only spent 5 days there and that was when we were moving things in a couple of weeks ago. I didn't get to explore the area.) I was hoping someone could give me the names of some bike shops so I could call them from here in Colorado to make arrangements for rentals.

Marcy, there are a couple of bike shops down by the U of A that do rentals, children may be a bit more difficult to find. Fair wheel, Ordinary bikes, and Bargain basement I believe all have rentals.

Thank you, okinloki1! We're getting excited about being back in Tucson, and are planning several easy (because of the kids) bike rides around the area. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. We're all huge bike riders! Wait, not huge as in girth, huge as in loving' it!
