Default "Fast & Furious, Lane-Changing, NASCAR WannaBEES..."

Just replied over on a Phoenix thread about this, but thought it really should be a thread all unto its own... down here in Baja Arid Zone...

Last night, I was driving next to one of those bumble-bee sounding vehicles, complete with scads of NASCAR decals "tatooed" all over his little red vehicle. He kept driving up next to other cars and revving his engine as if to invite them to a race.

Since there were no takers, he then sped off away from our little clump of vehicles, supposedly looking for someone else to race him...

Yep... just one more example of those "fast and furious, lane-changing NASCAR wannaBEES"!

Unfortunately, nary a cop to be seen.

My guess is that they can't stand driving the 40-45 mph speed limits actually posted on some of the surface streets (in this case - Golf Links Rd), and can't wait until 2010 (?) in order to go out and REALLY challenge the drivers on I-10!

They are just testing out their decals to make sure they get +5mph for each one.

Yeah, many "Ricers" are pretty much idiots.

Just last year one of these idiots killed a local football coach by clipping his vehicle on the interstate. Turns out the kid was an illegal and is sitting in a Mexican prison now.

I've never had any trouble with them though. Probably because my practical car is a bare bones toyota and isn't exactly a racing machine lol....or that my other (impractical) car would brutalize them so badly (if I were stupid enough to race them) that they don't mess with me as I would laugh and proceed to ignore them.

Racing in traffic is so utterly beyond stupid.

Sadly, Zony . . . people with "small attributes" feel compelled to do anything and everything possible to appear BIG.

Sadly, there are many female nuts, too, and they certainly don't want their "attributes" growing I wouldn't think - at least not the nether ones.

Yeah...

And, you gotta know there's something psychologically weird about a 4'11" guy parading around in a Hummer or a Cadillac Escalade!
