Default Moving from Long Island Ny

My wife and I have just sold our home and are relocating to Tucson. We should be down their early December. We've been looking at houses in zip codes 85743,85757 and 85735. We have a friend that lives in 85735. Our house price range $150000 to $165000.Can any one tell me about the these areas. And don't try to talk us out of moving. We've been to Tucson half a dozen times and we love the area.

Well, you're a bit out of town for all three of those zip codes. 85757 is the closest if you're not considering the east half of 85743 (predominantly Continental Ranch). For your price range you should have plenty of options, especially if you want a bit more land than you would get with a tract home.

Have you already looked through the Tucson MLS to narrow down your search?

you've done good leaving LI NY. thats where i moved from, moved to 85743.

85743 is Marana, not Tucson.

its a nice area. kinda the out-skirts of town with no new development going on due to market issues, etc. anything new will be north of twin peaks.

the economy here now is slowing.

85743 includes the area south of Marana and is considered Tucson, although it is also includes Picture Rocks.
