Grill a few Hebrew National Kosher beef knockwurst (my favorite hot dogs) then heat a few flour tortillas on the grill (don't make them crispy, just heat them up). Place the hot dog on the edge of the tortilla, sprinkle with a little bit of cotilla cheese and pico de gallo, a bit of hot sauce, then swipe a small amount of guacamole on the tortilla and roll up. My buddies and I lived off of these on surf/camping trips to Baja. We used to call them "Mexican hot dogs"
Exactly. And you haven't lived until you have enjoyed peanut butter and jelly slathered on a tortilla as well! I've always called these... um... peanut butter & jelly on a tortilla.

Yum! Makes yer mouth water - don't it?

Yeah, I think it's the combination of mayo, beans and bacon that scares me... it's like a gastric nightmare!

Just a quick review here, fwiw.

You guys piqued my interest in these things, and last night I went to El Guero Canelo to check out their Sonoran Hot Dogs.

I wasn't even all that hungry, so I just got one (oh, and I had them hold the mayo), but man, it was really good. I'm sure I'll be back for more when the mood strikes, and I feel like my arteries need a little firming up.

Hopefully you had the PB&J Tortilla as a topper...

...for the sweet tooth...

Not yet, Pony, but it sounds good to me. I loves me some PB&J. Lately, I've been putting PB&J on Triscuits. Not at all bad that way, either.

Oh, I love the Sonoran style hotdogs. I like mine with beans, onions ( usually grilled ones and raw ones). Pico de gallo, bit of mustard, cheese, and of course the hot dog wrapped in bacon. It is not the most healthy of meals lol. My daughter gets hers the same way but squeezes lime juice on it (ick). I love El Guero Canelo. They have the best tacos also. Shannon
