Default Do you prefer NO OUTLET... or DEAD END?

Would you rather see (or live on) a street that has a sign declaring DEAD END... or is NO OUTLET a better alternative? Does it psychologically speak to us about our own personal lives? Is there another way of stating this?

How do you suppose women feel about the sign MEN AT WORK... or MEN WORKING?

Regarding automobiles... why is it supposedly better if they use the word RESALE, or even PRE-OWNED... instead of USED CARS? Aren't they still USED cars?

Its amazing to me how $19.95 seems to be a more efficient and acceptable way to advertise something... rather than to tag it as a $20.00 item! That nickel is still only a nickel, after all!

On and on...

These things keep nagging away at me, you know? You got any like these?

I prefer to see them actually WORKING, not AT work...

You're behind the times again, dear. The new term is pre-loved!

That's a disgusting gimmick IMO, particularly in this country because when you add the tax it always goes beyond the next $ amount.

My personal fave is a street I saw in CA once - Termino Dr. It was full of hospitals and doctors' offices. I'd just loooove to be treated there!

My preference as well!

Yeah... I guess that's like asking someone if they're working...
One could answer, "Nope! I'm just putting my time in!"

Have you ever noticed how all the sugary kids cereals are right at child-eye-level? All the 'healthy' junk like Grapenuts is up top.

.... I can never reach my granola. I'm too short. 8<
