My daughter is 14 and really wants to get a job. The working age in NJ where we moved from is 15. Does any one know what the age is here?

You can be 15, but I doubt you would get hired. I was lucky to get hired at 15, it was by a movie theater, they are one of the only places that would consider employing a 15 year old.

Besides the summer, a 15 year old cannot work during the week, and cannot work past a certain time, you are limited to around 12 hours a week.

Ok now I have another question. My daughter is going to get hired at a pizza place. They said she would need a work permit. I have been told that Arizona does not require a work permit for a minor. Is this true? If I need one where would I go?
