Ventana Vista School in Catalina Foothills School District?
Anyone have feedback on Ventana Vista Elem. School in Cat. Foothills SD? We are searching for a new elem. school for our first grader. She's told us she doesn't like school. Sadly she is in a classroom where the teacher is teaching the same way she did 10 years ago. The environment is 100 percent teacher directed will little input from the children. Students spend much of their day at their table with TONS of worksheets.
No critical thinking or exploration going on at all. I never thought we'd have a young child who doesn't like school but at the same time I'm not surprised! We've herd great things about Borton but it' far away and only a K-2 school.
