I Like Flip-Flops is on a distinguished road
I transferred from a midwest college back in 2000 and have no regrets-loved it. Thought the molecular biology department was pretty legit back then.
FWIW, I've been in grad and med school since with people from the U of Cali schools, The Ivys, Duke, Hopkins...I haven't had any disadvantage "competing" academically against them, no difference between us from what I can tell.
