Default Fires in Tucson and surrounding areas

Hi there,

I have another question about Tucson as well as the surrounding foothill areas (Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, etc.). Is fire a problem? My parents live in the California foothills and have to burn brush around their home prior to the fire season as way of preventing (or trying to) summer fires. It's a pain, and I am always worried about them once summer rolls around.

Thanks for your feedback.

Mudd is on a distinguished road
Fires are commonplace, especially during the summer. Super dry + lightning strikes burn the mountains down every few years. It's no biggie unless you live right in the mountains.
