I feel like I've applied for every job on careerbuilder, monster, snagajob, hotjobs, craigslist (yikes) and jobs.com. No calls, even though I'm experienced with a BS degree. I know sometimes it's just a matter of knowing someone in the company who can get your resume looked at. Is anyone you know hiring?

Raytheon is always looking for people. They are the largest employer in Tucson, aside from government. You should check them out. Good luck.

Oh, yeah, they're always looking for people and always laying people off, too. Sometimes something less glamorous and more secure could be better.

I think he's looking for suggestions. Do you have one of your own?

Have you checked out Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed
I think its probably one of the better job searching websites out there.
You can search for a specific job title(not recommended) or just put in a keyword like management and then put in the location you want to work in..for example tucson az.
It then goes through and post every job that has management(or whatever your keyword is) in its description or title. It takes them from various job sites...for example careerbuilder. It saves you time from going to each individual jobsites. It also brings up postings from lesser known sites.

Good luck!

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll check that site out too.

One of my friends applied to Geico a few weeks back - got 2 interviews lasting a total of 7 hours, then a rejection email. She was MORE than qualified too. Stuff like that makes me angry & scared about the state of things.

That is a call center job! What does more than qualified equate to?
