Default Hey Tucson Cheapskates!!(Free food..lol)

I was surfing around on the net and found this neat website called Tucson On The Cheap. (I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH THIS SITE!! I just know that a lot of people on here have been layed off<like me> and need some ideas on what to do with themselves for entertainment besides looking for work)
It has some events and such posted for around town that are free or low cost.

Here is one thing they had on there about getting free food at Arby's. I have to check out if the one near me is participating.

This is cut and pasted from that site.....

Here’s the deal: Throughout the summer, you can get free food, shakes and drinks at Arby’s during Wednesday Freebies. The catch is that you need to make a specific type of purchase to get the freebie, but that’s it. If your local Arby’s is participating, you shouldn’t even need a coupon. How will you know if your Arby’s is participating? Some restaurants have flyers up touting the promotion—they’re the easiest ones to ID. With others, you may need to call first to ask. Click here to find an Arby’s near you.
Here’s a look at the Arby’s Wednesday Freebies schedule:

* May 27th- Free Regular Roast Beef with soft drink purchase
* June 3rd- Free FruiTea with sandwich purchase
* June 10th- Free Roast Chicken Club with soft drink purchase
* June 17th- Free Regular Side Kicker with sandwich purchase
* June 24th- Free Regular Roast Beef with soft drink purchase
* July 1st- Free Regular Beef and Cheddar with soft drink purchase
* July 8th- Free Orange Cream Shake with sandwich purchase
* July 15th- Free Regular Roast Beef with soft drink purchase
* July 22nd- Free RoastBurger with soft drink purchase
* July 29th- Free FruiTea with sandwich purchase
* August 5th- Free Regular Roast Beef with soft drink purchase
* August 12th- Free Roast Chicken Club with soft drink purchase
* August 19th- Free FruiTea with sandwich purchase
* August 26th- Free Roast Beef ‘n Cheddar with soft drink purchase

Cheap⋅skate:

[cheep-skeyt] noun, verb, -skat⋅ed, -skat⋅ing. Informal. –noun 1.a person who is stingy and miserly.
–verb (used without object) 2.to act in a stingy or miserly way. Origin:
1895–1900, Americanism; cheap + skate

Also known as tightwad, miser, skinflint, penny-pincher, churl, stiff, Scrooge...

Thanx, Beck... good website! However, I prefer to think of myself as a frugal, financially-safe, cost-effective shopper and/or bargain-hunter!

To tell you the truth, you can't PAY me enough to eat this stuff. I'd imagine it's some breaded (could be anything in it, a cat not to be overlooked ) thing...

Oh please. Mystery meat is the best!

I used to always joke about the carne asada at any Los Betos (or similar: Viva, Nico's, Filabertos etc) to be pigeon meat instead of beef.

One day I walked up to the order window to get one, and noticed something odd.

A live pigeon had a string tied to its foot, with the other end of the string tied to some railing, on the side of the store.

Confirmed! Pigeon meat tacos! Yummmmay

Also, the burrito I ordered was extra delicious that day. Fresh fresh meat maybe?

I'm with Sierra on this one -- Fil-A-Chick is naaaah-stee.

They put pickles and mayo on their chicken sandwiches. Full stop. Pickles. Mayo. Chicken. Nothing else.

I don't have anything against chicken or pickles, but mayo on the otherhand... ick.

It's the combination of those two ingredients and their greased-out, nasty chicken that does it.

You feel all dirty and slimy for hours. I learned my lesson.
